VICTORY TO ITALIAN OVER 97 MILES HOURLY (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Aug. 21, !) a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 19. The Ulster Motor Cycle Grand Prix was won by Serafim (Italy), riding a Gilera machine, his time being 2hrs. 30min. 51sec. and average speed 97.85 miles an hour, making the event the world’s fastest motor cycle road race. Serafim broke the lap record of 20i miles with a speed of 100.03 miles an hour.

Freddie Frith, riding a Norton machine, was second. His average was 90.83 miles an hour.

L. J. Archer, on a Velocctte, was third. His average was 92.95 miles an hour.
