AUSTRALIAN DEFAULTERS
NATIONAL REGISTRATION
(Reed. Aug. 19, 2 p.m.) CANBERRA, Aug. 19.
It is estimated 'that between 75,000 and 100,000 persons have failed to furnish man-power cards in connection with the national registration scheme. The 'Federal Cabinet will consider what action should be taken against them. Each defaulter is liable to a fine of £SO and three months’ imprisonment.
