In the final of the Otago amateur billiards championship last night, E. N. Stewart, the holder, defeated C. Mason, the scores being 1000 to 81G. At the commencement of the evening's play Stewart led by 500 to 450 from the previous day. and by consistent play increased the lead to win by 184.
