DAVIS CUP MATCHES CLASH WITH AUSTRALIANS (Reed. Aug. 15, 10.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 14. The United States tennis player Riggs to-dav declared: ‘‘l have found my touch and now feel really confident of beating the Australians.” The New York Sun’s tennis writer, in an article on "Dr. Hopman and hig bromide treatment” compares the strenuous matches which the Americans have played with the soft opposition which the Australians encountered. He suggests that Quist and Bromwich are in a state approaching tennis somnolence and that no matter how actively the Yugoslavs play it will be a miracle if they awaken the Australians.
