Scarlet Gum Trees

■n’r.r-dell-Mnngamahu branch of the Women’s Division of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union has advised the Wanganui County Council that it desires to mark the centennial by planting half a mile of scarlet gum trees on each side of No. 2 Line as a memorial to the pioneer men and women of the district.
