The barometric pressure at all North Island stations was slid at a low level this morning and at Gisborne it had dropped a - shade overnight. Tim temperature, was warmer than yesterday at several places, 55 degrees being recorded -at Cape Maria Van Diemen and Auckland, with' other readings as follows: Tiritiri 5.3, Napier 53, Gisborne 51, Tauranga 49, Opotiki and Wellington 47.
