fPi'r Preis Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Telephone and power lines were damaged in many parts of Taranaki by a high wind 'hat at one stage yesterday morning reached a velocity of U 3 miles hourly.
Telephone communication with the North Egmont Hostel was cut off all morning, but other damage was of a minor nature and the services were restored.
