GIFT AFTERNOON (Hornld Correspondent.) On Saturday Misses W. Fox and N. Langridge were joint hostesses at. a delightful gift afternoon in the Waipiro Library 'in honour of Miss Ena. Lee, whose marriage to Mr. G. A. rillespie, Hamilton, takes place on August 26. The Library was 'tastefully decorated with deep pink rhododendrons and narcissi Tire guests were received by Miss Fox, wearing a brown tailored costume and Miss Langridgc, in a navy and white and •cyclamen ensemble. The guest of honour wore a model frock of black wool marocain, while the guest of honour's mother wore an ensemble in Indian red. Several amusing competitions were 'mid. the winners being Mrs, W. S. Thompson and Mrs. A. R, 11. Morris.
After a delicious afternoon tea. Miss Lee opened' the many beautiful gifts, and! thanked the donors. The guests were Miss E. Lee; Mesdames S. J. Lee, J. Brown, A. J. W. Duff, W. S. Thompson, D.
