COASTAL TRADE The Pakura completed the discharge of her Auckland cargo at Gisborne yesterday and sailed at 12.15 a.m. today .for Waikokopu, Napier and Wellington. The ship loads at Wellington on Friday and Saturday for Napier and Gisborne.
The Pukeko arrived in the Gisborne roadstead early this morning from Wellington and Napier, and Iberthcd at No. 1 wharf at 6.30 o'clock. The ship sails to-night for Auckland, where she will load on .Monday and Tuesday for Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier.
The Kcpara loads at Portland to-day and at Auckland to-morrow for Coast bays. Gisborne and Napier. She is due here on Friday. The Margaret W. is loading at Auckland for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne, and it is hoped to dispatch her to-night. She is due here on Thursday.
The 'Wainui, owing to the weather conditions, did not arrive at Dunedin until 3 p.m. yesterday, and is now expected to be dispatched to-day. She works O.omaru and Timaru to-morrow and Lyttelton on Thursday, thence Wellington. The ship arrives at Gisborne on August 21.
The Rata, which completes unloading coal, timber and posts at Gisborne to-day. is expected to sail at 3 p.m. for Westport.

Malmoa (Shaw, Savill; agents, Common, Shelton and Company), from New loads meat and dairy produce at Gisborne September 13-14 for London and west coast ports of the United Kingdom, Leaves Auckland on September 21 for London, via Panama and Kingston. Tokomaru Bay Roadstead
Tongariro (New Zealand Shipping Company), from Wellington, loads meat and general cargo at Tokomaru Bay August 20-23. Leaves Auckland on" August 29 for Southampton, London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA The Karitane loads at Newcastle next Monday and completes at Sydney. The ship is to bring cargo to Napier and Gisborne, discharging here about the first week in September. MATUA RESUMES After undergoing annual survey at Auckland, the Union Company’s passenger motor-ship OVlatua sails at 5 p.m to-day for Rarotonga, Nukualofa, Vavau, Apia and Suva. The ship returns to Auckland on September 3. NEW SHIPPING SERVICE. Burns. Philp and Company, Limited have received information from their Sydney office of the commencement of a new shipping service which will leave Sydney approximately every four mpnths, proceed to Mexico via Fiji, Tonga and other island ports, and return via Vancouver and the South Sea Islands. The Tulagi .began her maiden voyage in the service on August 2 and will leave again in December and April. She ’is a new motor vessel of 3000 tons and has accommodation for 12 passengers.
