NAILS 100 YEARS OLD
Hand-made nails 100 years old are being used in the construction of the pioneer hut in the women’s section at the New Zealand Centennial Exhibition. The hut will be the main feature of the North Island women’s exhibit and will be a replica of an early .settler’s home about the 18-10 period. Some of the nails arc from the Bay of Islands and some from Fetonc, and were used originally in early settlers’ dwellings.
