PARIS-BERLIN DISPUTE
RIBBENTROP’S ASSOCIATE DALADIER RAISES BAN ALLEGATION OF LIBEL (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Fross Assn.l (Reed. Aug. 14, 2.20 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 13. The German Ambassador, Count Welczeck, is reported to be returning to Paris 1 shortly, states ,a message from Berlin.
A Paris message states that following the refusal of the • French Premier, M. Daladler, to permit the re-entry of Otto Abetz, a collaborator of the German Foreign Minister, Herr von Ribbentrop, who recently went to France on a special mission, Count Welczeck followed up .a protest regarding the matter by visiting the French War Ministry and then going to Berlin, presumably to consult the German Government. Abetz wished 1 to return in connection with a libel action against a French newspaper regarding his activities.
