PROPOSAL FOR CLASSES

(Per Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day

A scheme for setting up classes to teach exercises designed to help expectant mothers before and during confinement, and to build up their general health to aid them to easier settling down \ to routine duties at home after child-birth, was placed before the Ashburton Hospital Board by Mrs. A. N. Grigg, who waited on the board. Members were unanimous regarding the benefits of such classes and agreed that an officer of the hospital staff should investigate the scheme with a view to the early establishment of classes.
