WAZIRISTAN VIOLENCE
LOOTING AND SNIPING
REAPPEARANCE OF FAKIR
(Rccd. Aug. 12. 10.15 a.m.) SIMLA. Aug. 11
The Fakir of Ipi has reappeared in North Wazirisian, where shops have been looted, roads mined and telephone and telegraph wires cut. There has been extensive raiding and sniping. The fakir is using disgruntled natives drawn from several tribes, thus making it impossible for the British authorities to say that any one tribe is responsible.
