WOMAN’S CLAIM UPHELD

INJURIES IN SMASH

(For Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. Damages totalling £227 were awarded by a jury to Lily Gillies Connop, in the Napier Supreme Court yesterday in a claim for compensation against Dorothy Gladys Roberts for injuries received in a , motor smash near Waipawa in May, 1938. The hearing extended over two lull days and the jury retired lor over three hours before reaching its decision.
