BETRAYAL OF SECRETS WARSAW PAPER’S STORY (Reed. Aug. 11, 9 a.m.) WARSAW, Aug. 10. A leading Rome Catholic newspaper reports that Italian officials confiscated all copies of the official organ of the Vatican, the Osservatorc Romano, because it disclosed that six engineers, five air force technicians and 20 pilots of the Italian Air Force have been arrested in connection with the disclosure of plans of a new Savoia bomber. The journal stated that samples of a special duraluminium, 34 per cent lighter than any known, was also found in the possession of a German, Herman Berg. All were found guilty of espionage and shot in the back.
