ENGLISH TRIP UNLIKELY
PLANS FOR PADISHAH (Per Press Association.! CHRISTOHURCH, this day. It seems unlikely that the proposed visit of Padishah to England will eventuate. Mr. J. A. Hennah, owner of the horse, said 'thafTa wealthy New Zealandcr was prepared to take Padishah to England, paying all expenses provided he was given a half share in the horse for ilis trip, the idea being to race him in the Liverpool Grand National. Having thought it out from various angles, Mr. Hennah has decided against it Had' Padishah been young, it would have been worth while. The horse could have been hunted for the winter while becoming acclimatised, and could then take on the Grand National Steeplechase under reasonable conditions.
