APPEAL FOR SUPPORT ADVANTAGES OF COURSE An appeal (for farming interests- to support the Gisborne High School agricultural course was made by Mr. G. Thorpe, agricultural master at the school, at the monthly meeting of the Poverty Bay A. and P. Association to-day. Mr. Thorpe outlined the advantages of the course and pointed out that the course served to bridge an educational -gap Which, -in this district at least, existed between the primary school on the one hand' and the young farmers' clubs on ithe other. It was pointed l out that other farming interests- had been approached in the matter and it was proposed to hold a field-day at the school experimental "arm. Members- were urged to give this display their support.
