•ANNUAL MEETINGGOOD FINANCIAL POSITION There was a good attendance of nemfbers at the annual meeting of the To Karaka Bowling Club, held in the pavilion, Mr. A. Buckingham presidio ' comprehensive report of the oar's workings-was submitted by the ; o'ary, Mr. C. Bull. Trophies Presented During the evening the president presented the following trophies Won during the season: Champion Singles, club c'uo and miniature presented': by Mr. A. Clayden: Mr; W. r Greggan. Owing to Mr. W. Greggan retiring from the position of green superintendent, it was> resolved, on -the motion of Mr.' Keane, to place on record 1 the club's appreciation, of the service rendered by "'■ Mr.. Greggan over a period l of 'years. Members expressed .their, appreciation 'also of the help " extended"" 'by ' lady ' members throughout the season and hoped l that the coming slimmer would be equally successful." •'-' ' It was decided to have a general working bee on Saturday, August 12, to top-dress, the greens and repair seats. '" ' '!•■■;' The opening date was fixed tentatively for' the first Saturday in October.
