•ANNUAL MEETINGGOOD FINANCIAL POSITION There was a good attendance of nemfbers at the annual meeting of the To Karaka Bowling Club, held in the pavilion, Mr. A. Owing to Mr. W. Greggan retiring from the position of green superintendent, it was> resolved, on -the motion of Mr.' Keane, to place on record 1 the club's appreciation, of the service rendered by "'■ Mr.. Greggan over a period l of 'years. Members expressed .their, appreciation 'also of the help " extended"" 'by ' lady ' members throughout the season and hoped l that the coming slimmer would be equally successful." •'-' ' It was decided to have a general working bee on Saturday, August 12, to top-dress, the greens and repair seats. '" ' '!•■■;' The opening date was fixed tentatively for' the first Saturday in October.
