The reply to the proposals of the Japanese Government, which are being examined in London, has not yet been dispatched to the British Ambassador, Sir Robert Craigie, and pending its arrival no'•further meeting with tbe Japanese Foreign Minister, Mr. Hachiro Arita, has taken place.
