National Cage Bird Show

Eight hundred birds from most North Island centres and also from the South Island, were exhibited at the national, cage bird show in New Plymouth last week. A Gisborne fancier, Mr. E. Lindley, won the national challenge trophy for the best unflighted canary, mule or British hybrid, as well as securing a number of other awards in canary classes.
