MISSING MAN’S BODY

FOUND NEAR WHAKATANE (Special to the Herald.) WHAKATANE. this day. The body of George Hobson, Waihi, who had been missing since July 22, was found (loafing in the dredge cut at the Whakatane Paper Mills yesterday morning. The body apparently had been in the water for some time. Mr. Hobson was last seen in Whakatan'e on the evening of July 22. Detective Waterson, Gisborne, has gone to Whakatane to assist in inquiries being made about the man’s death.
