Like a Sea Captain
Holding that a taxi-driver was in much the same position as the captain of a ship and that 'if his conduct was not: above reproach his license must be taken away, Mr, J. Miller, 8.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Hastings, inflicted a fine of £ls and suspended for six months the license of Albert Arthur Walter Tasker, aged 30, taxi-driver, who had pleaded guilty to a charge of intoxication while in charge of a motor vehicle.
