DANZIG PROTESTS
REPLY FROM POLAND (Reed. August 5. 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 4. The Daily Telegraph's Danzig correspondent says that the Polish Government, replying to the Senate’s demand lor fewer Polish customs officers, urges respect for treaties and adds that the inspectors rights must be preserved. A Warsaw message says that Marshal Smigly-Ridz will make an important speech on Sunday, which will toe broadcast throughout Poland.
