What is really a request for a definite statement from the Government as to its exact intentions about the guaranteed price has been put forward by the executive committee of the dairy industry conferences. This clear-cut definition is required before the dairy farmers can form a reasonable opinion as to the protection or otherwise offered by the guaranteed price scheme. Yesterday, Messrs. W. G. Hale, W. Marshall and T. C. Brash met the acting-Minister of Marketing, the Hon. W.
