BY PLANE AND LAUNCH

SEARCH FOR YACHTSMAN EAST CAPE AREA The coastline between Tuparoa and East Cape was thoroughly searched this morning by aeroplane and launch in an effort to locate the missing Gisborne yacht Titi and her owner, Mr. Gordon Morice, but up to noon no trace of the craft of the yachtsman -had been found. The boat was last sighted from the shore on -Monday afternoon, when it was about 20 miles south of East Cape. The Rotorua aeroplane piloted by Mr. S. J. Blackmbre, and the Tokomaru Bay Harbour Board’s new launch Tuna were engaged in the search this morning and they were to continue their efforts this afternoon, moving further afield. They were to inspect the coastline north of East Cape and make a search well off shore.
