FUTURE OF RHODESIA
COMMISSION SUGGESTED WESTMTNSTEE CONTACT (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, Aug. 2. The Dominions Secretary, Sir Thomas Inskip, stated in reply to a question in the House of Commons yesterday: “The Colonial Secretary and I had conversions with the Prime Minister of Southern Rhodesia on the subject of the recommendations of the report of the Rhodesia and Nyassaland Royal Commission concerning the relations of Northern and Southern Rhodesia. “These discussions are still progressing and His Majesty’s Government is not yet in a position to make a statement as to their outcome."
