WAGON DERAILED

DRAGGED HALF A MILE MISHAP ON ROSS LINE (Por Press Assc-ointion.) GREYMOUTH, last night. The derailment of a wagon loaded with lime, which, was dragged along the track for about half a mile, caused a delay of more than five hours to the train from Ross to Hokitika yesterday. The permanent way was damaged, a considerable number of sleepers being broken. The mishap occurred near Ruatapu, it a point about -nine miles from Hokitika. The wagon was jacked off the line and the lime loaded into another .ruck to enable the train to proceed. A work train was dispatched! from Greymouth to repair the damage, vhich disorganised traffic on the Ross line yesterday. A road service bus from- Hokitika brought Ross passengers on from the scene of the derailment. Passengers booked by the east-bound express joined the train at Kumara Junction
