Tesla Studios Photo AWAITING BETTER WEATHER.—The four tugs tied up at Castlecliff wharf, Wanganui, waiting for the weather to moderate before trying again to refloat the stranded Port Bowen. Since this photograph was taken some of the vessels have returned to their hone ports. The vessels from the left, are the Antigone, Kalingo, Lyttelton 11, Toia, Terawhiti, Kahanui and the lighters Kaiwaka and Morning Light. Right, Mr. J. Wilkins (right), an employee of the Wanganui Harbour Board, who has charge of communications between the stranded ship and the shore. With him is Mr. T. Lovegrove, one of the stevedores, who has had many long hours on the Port Bowen.
