Tire News Chronicle says t'hat according to a letter of undoubted authenticity signed by Michael Doyle, "the director of publicity” of the Irish Republican Army at Dublin, this organisation boasts that it can continue the terrorist campaign for nvo and a-half years or longer, according to the measure of support received in Ireland. The cost is approximately £I2OO a veek, though the terrorists themselves are not paid Reprisals against Britons in Ireland, numbering 40,000 in only two cities, are now threatened. Volunteers undergo technical military training for on unspecified period of years to equip them to complete the campaign. Sir Walter Monckton, the AttorneyGeneral of the Duchy of Cornwall, will examine objections against deportation by men subjected to these orders. The Home Secretary, Sir Samuel Hoare, to-day signed expulsion orders against the girl aged 19 years, who was reported earlier to have been detained by .the police cm suspicion of Irish Republican Army activities, and also five men.
