Seventy families related to 80 political prisoners, now in the fifth day of a “fasting unto death" at the Surafcnd concentration camp, are carrying on n hunger strike in sympathy at. the Great Synagogue in TelAviv. The chief rabbi. Dr. Hertzog, has sent a memorial .to the British authorities claiming the release of 10 inmates of Surafcnd who, it is alleged, have been detained for six months without trial under emergency regulations, but are still not released though they have served their first sentences.
