COLLAPSE AT WHEEL
DEATH OF MOTORIST WIFE STOPS VEHICLE (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. While driving his motor car in Mangere on Saturday afternoon, Ernest Thomas Baker, an elderly man, collapsed at the wheel and died before he could be taken to the hospital. The car travelled almost a furlong along the edge of the ditch at the side of the road before Mrs. Baker, who was sitting alongside her husband, could bring it to a stop.
