Riggs .and Miss Betz. 4 —6, 6—3, 6—3. The -courts were extremely wet. The winners started out poorly, making many errors. They twice collided during the first set but improved thereafter, benefited toy Riggs’ insistence upon attempting to play the whole court, leaving openings to which Quist frequently volleyed. Quist and Miss Marble meet E. A. Cook and Mrs. S. P. Fabyan in the final to-morrow. GERMAN PAIR WIN (Reed. July 31, 9 a.m.) ZAGREB, July 29.
