T'E TEKO STOCK SALE BEEF VALUES FIRM A small yarding of beef and a large entry of dairy heifers came forward last week in Te Teko. Prices in the beef section were firm at late rates, but owing to the bad weather the heifer market was not as good as might have been expected. Some very good quality cattle were penned and the best early calvers. well grown and in good condition, made to £9 15s; others, from £7 10s to £8; later calvers, from £G to £7l small and backward, from £5 to £5 15s. 1 In the 'beef and store section heavy fat Jersey cows made from £5 10s to £6 Gs; medium, from £4 10s to £5 ss; good quality barren heifers, from £5 to £5 9s.
