FURTHER CRITICISM
PARLIAMENTARY RECESS DISCUSSION IN LORDS FEAR OF DISTURBANCE (Elec. Tel. Copyriffiit—United Press Assn.) (Reed. July 29, 1.30 p.rn.) LONDON, July 23. As a climax 'to criticism lasting for severial weeks of Parliament’s rising on August 4, Lord Lloyd, in the House of Lord's, said: "I am amazed that, in the greatest 'crisis cl’ history, 'which is no exaggeration. Parliament should quietly disperse. Something might break out in Poland any day instigating disturbances similar to those in the Sudeitenland. “It would require two or three days to summon Parliament, but everyone knows what might happen in Europe in a few ’hour's.”
Earl 'Stanhope 'replied that to keep Pari lament in session 'Would encourage the di'dl'ators to 'believe that everything they raid or did was so important that we must always be on tiptoe.
