TERRORISM SUBSIDING
REBELS IN PALESTINE SURRENDER OF ARMS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, July 28. Reports from Palestine show that there are encouraging symptoms of a decline of the .rebel movements. During the first fortnight of July, 34 rifles, other arms and ammunition were voluntarily surrendered by villages and, in the same period, the troops captured 200 rifles, 40 pistols, 17 shotsuns and a large quantity of ammunition. No r be! ' ders of any importance are now in Palestine. The few armed gangs which still remain have little lo'cal backing, and the “national” aspect of the rebel movement is declining.
