AUSTRALIAN REGISTER. TRADES COUNCIL ACTION (Elec. Tel. Copyright —United Press Assn.) (Rccd, July 29, 2 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 29. The South Australian and Queensland Trades Labour Councils adopted the recommendation by the Australian Council of Trades Unions that the boycott of the national register be abandoned. • New South Wales 1 having already accepted, the necessary majority of three States has been obtained and the decision, becomes binding on affiliated unions, despite the adverse decision of the Victorian Trades Hall Council.
