Air Mail Closing Time

An alteration lias been made in the closing time for the air mail which connects with the morning planes leaving Gisborne for northern and southern centres. The De Havilland Dragon plane, which replaces the four-engined 86 machine, temporarily withdrawn, from the Palmerston North service, leaves Gisborne 15 minutes earlier than the usual time. This has necessitated a corresponding adjustment in. the closing time of the air mail at the Post. Office, as only one trip is made to the aerodrome in the morning to connect with the air services. The closing time now is 5.45 a.m.
