DEATH IN AUCKLAND

M i;. GEORGE Tilt 'IIARDFOA’ A former Gisborne resident. Mr. George Baker Richardson, died at his residence. 28 Schofield street. Grey Lynn. Auckland, on Wednesday, aged G 3 years. Mr. Richardson had spent practically the whole of his life in Iho Gisborne district and only last year moved to Auckland to live id retirement. Twenty years ago Mr. Richardson was the licensee of the Kaitaralahi Hotel, and lor 15 years he was on the staff of the Masonic Hotel. For a long period lie had suffered ill health and this occasioned his retirement last year, when Mr. and Mrs. Richardson went to Auckland to make their home with their son, Mr. Douglas Richardson, late of the industrial stall' of -the Australian Mutual Provident Society's Gisborne office^ The funeral will take place in Auckland on Saturday.
