HEAVIEST SINCE 1918
CARTERTON’S FIVE INCHES (Tor Tress Association.) CARTERTON, this day. _ A heavy fall of snow was experienced at Carterton last nig hit. This morning the ground was covered to a depth of live inches. Conditions are still cold though flashes of brilliant sunshine are being experienced. There has been no further fall of snow so far. Conditions were similar here on July 22, 1918, when six inches were recorded.
