Bare Bird Afield Z A bird resembling closely the hihi, ;cr ptitchbird, believed to be found • nowadays only in the" bird sanctuary .on the Little Barrier, was observed •by Mrs. Douglas Blair in her garden On Monday. The hihi was common ‘in the North Island 50 years ago.
