In the third round of the men’s singles, Bromwich (Australia) heal Russell Kenington (Vancouver), G —3, 6 —o, and Hopman (Australia) beat Larry Hall (Vancouver), 6—o, G—2. In the mixed doubles Tom Brown and IMiss Helen Gourlay (beat Hopman and Mrs. Mary Hagg'art (Vancouver) 6 —3, 3—6, 9 —7. Bromwich and Miss Eleanor Young, the national champion, ■beat Oscar Roels and Miss Jean Eckhart (Vancouver), 6—o, G—l.

To-morrow is an off day and the Australians will be the guests of the Vancouver (Racing Association. Twc races respectively named the Harry Hopman Handicap and the Jack Bromwich Handicap will be features.
