B Grade. —Mrs. Chaplin defaulted to Miss Mac Kay; Miss Mitcneil defeated Mrs. Jackson, 5 and 4; Mrs. Short cteieaieo Miss Dates, 4 and 3, Mrs. Gardner defeated Miss Armstrong, 6 and 5; Mrs. J. Riddell defeated Miss Doig. 6 and 5. The draw for the second round is:— B Grade. —Miss Mac Kay v. Miss MlLtchell; Mrs. Todcl v. Mrs. Short; Miss Thompson v. Mrs. Glen; Mrs. Gardner v. Mrs. Horton; Miss Mills v. Miss Glen; Mrs. Murphy v. Miss M. Armstrong; Mrs. Riddell v. Miss Eva Hale; Mrs. MacCallum v. Miss Nevin. Players are requested to play their matches before Sunday, os Makarika golfers will be paying a visit to Tokomaru Bay at the week-end. In the final of the Handicap Cup a very even game resulted in a win for Mrs. A. B. Forrester (handicap 25). who defeated Miss D. Conole (14), 1 up.
