FLIGHTS OVER FRANCE
BRITISH FORMATIONS UP TO 800 MILES (Reed. July 26. 9 a.m.) LONDON, July 25. A large formation of British aircraft engaged in routine training exercises over French territory left the south coast of England in successive waves from 7.15 a.m., flying under sealed orders. The flights varied in length from 800 miles to nearly twice that distance. The speeds were up to 300 miles an hour.
