AIR HOSTESS TO WED
Miss Hilda Bougertman, 27 years old, No. 1 air hostess for K.L.M., the Dutch Air Line, will leave the air next month and become a housewife. She will not marry an airman- but a , business man. In four years Hilda 1 has flown 500,000 miles. She escaped in a plane crash at Croydon Airport in 1930, when 14 lives were lost.
; The Russians arc working very hard to improve their road system towards the west. New roads for civil and military transport arc being built; old ones are being widened.
