General Competitions The final cf the President’s Trophy competition tock place last week-end and after a close, interesting game Mowat and Hinckesman defeated Jones and McDonald. 2 up. Both semi-finals in the Prebble Trophy have been played, the results being: Crawford beat Pomare: Bauld. jun., beat Martin. The final most probably will be played next week-end and with Crawford having to give his young opponent quite a few strokes handicap, a good game should result. The Moore Tiki holders, Scott and Prebole, proved just too good for the challengers. Crawford and Pomare, the game finishing at the eighteenth green.
