CROSSBREDS IN DEMAND
LONDON WOOL SALES (Reed. July 25, 2 p.m.) LONDON, July 24. At the London wool sales, 5697 bales were offered, including 1415 from New Zealand, and 4434 were sold. There was an average selection. chiefly Australian Merinos. The demand continued keen for greasy crossbreds and greasy Merinos. Withdrawals were confined to scoured Merinos and slipes.
