POLAND AND DANZIG PROTESTS TO WARSAW (Reed. July 25, 9 a.m.) LONDON, July 24. from Danzig report .that it is officially stated that Polish and Danzig frontier guards exchanged shots in the vicinity of Renneberg. It is alleged that a Polish reconnaisance patrol penetrated the Danzig zone for a distance of one kilometre, where they met an outpost, and that the Poles, without warning, opened fire, retreating when the Danzig men replied.

The Danzig authorities protested and demand that Poland should end frontier infringements.
