OBITUARY

MRS. PARKER CRONE After an iiiness lasting several months Mrs. Esther (Cissy) Mary Crone, wife of Mr. Parker Crone, of To Awamutu, died in Hamilton yesterday. Mrs. Crone, who was 55 years of age, was the daughter of Mrs. Rice and the late Mr. Charles Rice, Palmerston road, Gisborne, and was born here. She received her education at the Central School and was married to Mr. Parker Crone in Gisborne 30 years ago.

Of late years the deceased had been residing in the Waikato and. since Christmas, had been in indifferent health. Mrs. Crone was well known in Gisborne and had many friends both here and in the Waikato. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Jordan and Miss Cora Crone, and one son, Mr. Hilton Crone, all of To Awamutu. Her sister, Mrs. A. Elliott, and a brother, Mr. Alan Rice, both reside in Gisborne. The deceased will be interred in Te Awamutu.
