CASUALTY TREATMENT

SERVICES OF DOCTORS PLANS FOR EMERGENCY (British Official Wireless.) Reccl. 9 a.m. RUGBY, July 22. In connection with the Government’s plans for utilising the services of doctors in the event of war, it is announced that a national hospital medical service for the treatment of casualties is to be created.

Doctors joining it will be liable for three years to serve in emergency. They will be allocated to their wartime positions now so that in an emergency the casualty hospital staffs will function at a moment's notice.
