Armed Arabs believed to be members of the gang which on Thursday were reported to have kidnapped Gerald Goldmer, ndt Gordner. as at first stated, ambushed a party of British soldiers south of Hebron, killing one and wounding four. Gerald Goldmer notified his father, the Rev. Jacob Goldmer: “Dear Pops: I am fine and well treated. I hope to see you to-morrow.’’

The father was captured with Gerald, tout was released.
